Itinerary

Day 01: India / Beijing by Intl flight

Fly to China, arrive at Beijing Capital Intl Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel by our English speaking representative. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Beijing

Departure from hotel at 10:00 hrs and proceed for City tour. Visit the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved of all the imperial palace gardens and boasts such delights as the “Marble Boat” and the ornately painted “Long Corridor” Pearl shop. Visit to the world famous Tian’anmen Square the biggest square in the world that lies in the center of the city. Visit the Forbidden City from which the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties governed for over 500 years.

Optional program: Hutong tour, which is also called Rickshaw Tour. Visit Houhai, a lake and its surrounding district in central Beijing, one of the three parts of Shichahai. In recent years it has become famous for nightlife because it is home to many popular restaurants, bars, and cafes. The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing, but is also often visited by the expatriate community and younger locals.

Optional program: Kongfu show in the evening. 21:30 hrs – Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel.

Day 03: Beijing

After breakfast, depart from the hotel at 10:00 hrs to proceed for city tour. Visit a Longdi Jade shop where we will learn about Chinese jade culture. Visit the fabled Great Wall-Juyong Pass, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive defensive structure built to keep off intrusion. Afternoon proceed to see the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium outside) and the Water Cube (Outside).

Meals: Breakfast + Chinese Lunch in Great Wall + Indian Dinner

Day 04: Beijing / Xian – by domestic flight (early morning flight)

Morning transfer to airport, to board a flight to Xian. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. 12:00 hrs – Departure from hotel to proceed for City tour. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda square. The great goose pagoda, calling Dayanta in Chinese, is built for keeping book. You can watch the Bell and Drum tower outside look, a classical building with carved beams and painted rafters, has been served as the symbol of Xi’an. The Muslim Bazaar, the Muslim quarters lies 100 meters west of the Bell tower in downtown Xi’an. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stall, souvenir shop, cafe and bars which are mostly run by Muslim people.

Optional program: Tang Dynasty show – the ancient Chinese dance and musical show 21:00 hrs – Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back to the hotel.

Day 05: Xian

Departure from hotel at 10:00 hrs to proceed for City tour. Visit the incredible 2000 year old Terra Cotta Warriors. Each one is part of the underground tomb of the Emperor Qin. Well over 7000 figures were drawn up in full battle array in several large pits. Ceramic shop. Afternoon, visit the Shaanxi Historical Museum. Among the 400,000 items on display are treasures from many of the Dynasties, including some magnificent bronzes and porcelain, many of which have never been on permanent display before.

Day 06: Xian / Shanghai – by domestic flight (early morning flight)

Morning transfer to airport to board a flight to Shanghai. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. 12:00 hrs – Departure from hotel and proceed for City tour. Visit silk shop, the Shanghai Museum which is the largest museum of ancient Chinese art in Shanghai. Visit the People Square and Nanjing Road for shopping.

Optional program: Shanghai Madame Tussauds wax museum. Visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden -outside look nine zig zag bridge with golden fish pond, bridges and pavilions. Step onto Yu Market (Old City God’s Temple), which is a major yet relatively inactive, Taoist temple in Shanghai.

Option program: 19:00 – 21:00 hrs – Evening visit Xintiandi, an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai, China. It is composed of an area of reconstituted traditional shikumen (“stone gate”) houses on narrow alleys, some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants and shopping malls. Most of the cafes and restaurants feature both indoor and outdoor seatings. Xintiandi has an active nightlife on weekdays as well as weekends, though romantic settings are more common than loud music and dance places. It is considered one of the first lifestyle centers in China. Xintiandi is the location of the site of the first congress of and the Communist Party of China, now preserved at the Museum of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. 21:00 hrs – Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back to the hotel by 22:30 hrs.

Day 07: Shanghai

Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai, Tea Shop, then transfer to Taobao City for shopping.

Optional program: Shanghai Aquarium after 16:00 hrs. Explore the Bund in the evening. Visit the Oriental Pearl TV tower 2nd level.

Optional program: Huangpu River Cruise

Meals: Breakfast + Indian dinner

Day 08: Shanghai / India by Intl flight

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport to board International flight.

Optional program: Maglev Train one way on the way to Pudong Airport.
