Itinerary

Day 01: Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey! We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel after a welcome briefing about the tour ahead. (early arrival, visit the spices market with all shops, The Rustem pacha mosque and Cruise on the Bosphorus). Overnight in Istanbul at the selected hotel.(D)

Day 02: Istanbul

Discover the Byzantine and Otoman treasures of Istanbul. Visit the Royal Topkapi at Palace, home of the Ottoman Sultans, St.Sophia Church, The Sultans, The Blue Mosque unique with six minarets, the Roman hipodrome. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul. (B,L,D)

Day 03: Ankara – Cappadocia

Visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations an award winning museum. Later, visit the Masoleum of Ataturk; the founder of modern Turkey. Our tour will continue with a bus ride to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight stay in Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 04: Cappadocia

Optional Hot Air Balloon Trip in the morning. Full day Cappadocia visit, including Goreme Open Air Museum, Avanos the pottery making town, the natural citadel of Uchisar. Later, observation of a regional pottery workshop in a cave. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 05: Cappadocia – Pamukkale

On our way to Pamukkale you will be visiting the Mausoleum of Sufi philosopher Mevlana Jelaladdin Rumi. Then continue to Pamukkale; the ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city of Hierapolis was built on top of this “white castle”. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B,D)

Day 06: Pamukkale – Kusadasi

Visit Hierapolis a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the hot springs in your hotel. Then continue to Kusadasi, dinner and overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 07: Ephesus – House of Virgin Mary – Kusadasi

Visit the famous Ephesus in the morning; In the Roman period it was for many years the second largest city of the Roman Empire; ranking behind Rome, the empire’s capital. Then we will visit the House of Virgin Mary. Today there is an optional Tour to Sardis; the capital of the ancient kingdom of Lydia. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 08: Departure

Morning transfer to the airport for your international flight. End of our services. (B)
