Itinerary & Tour Details

Day 01: Chandigarh → Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station. Explore Chandigarh local sight- seeing with visit to world famous Rock Garden made by Shri Nek Chand. Enjoy a stroll at beautiful Sukhana Lake. If you are lucky you can meet some celebrities from this place strolling here.

Pickup from location and then drive to Shimla, via the beautiful Pinjore Mughal Gardens filled with fountains and exotic trees and plants with a restaurant in water.

Drive through the picturesque multi-lane Himalayan Expressway surrounded in between Majestic Himalayas and Kaushalaya Dam.

Then drive through beautiful hills of Jabli, Dharampur, Solan and the high valley of Barog. You can stop here for some memorable views and photographs.

Reach Taradevi and relax a few minutes. Arrive in Shimla & Check in at the hotel. Spend your evening at your leisure, relaxing after long journey. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing at Shimla

After Breakfast, excursion tour to beautiful village of Kufri which is surrounded with thick forests. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri. If you are lucky and the sky is clear you can get beautiful of of snowy peaks in the distant.

After lunch get set for Shimla sightseeing. Step out to explore the Mall Road of Shimla, considered as one of the most happening places in India, set amidst a colonial charm. Explore handicrafts at Lakkar Bazar and you can shop for souvenirs. Stroll past State Liabrary, Scandal Point, Chaura Maidan, Skating Rink, The Goofa Restaurant all the way through to the old Kali Bari Temple. Take some beautiful pics at the old Christ Church at the Ridge.

You can go to Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre – where the first beauty contest was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank building (1912) – the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay. A beautiful place to take some beautiful pictures with friends and family.

Evening time sip hot coffee or taste authentic South Indian cuisine at the original Indian Coffee House an old and famous restaurant in Shimla. You can also taste some good Punjabi and continental dishes in the by lanes of Shimla or on walk at The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the north India the Mall Road

Get back to your hotel and realx all the way out.

Day 03: Shimla → Manali

After Breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Manali amidst beautiful Himalayan villages and small towns. On the route visit Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Kullu valley, visit Shawl Factory at Kullu. Later Arrive Manali and check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 04: Manali Site Seeing

Wake up with the golden sunrise atop Himalayas. Its an experience to breathe the early morning fresh air in the lovely old town of Manali.

Hit the breakfast table for good meal at your hotel, proceed to half day city tour of Manali. A scintillating tour on which don’t forget to take your camera along. Visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village and Tibetan Monastery. In Vashist village explore the natural Sulphur hot springs.

Evening free for roam at your own. You can buy beautiful souvenirs or relax to some Hindu and Buddhist music in manali. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 05: Manali → Solang Valley → Manali

Full day excursion tour to Solang Valley which is a lovely small tourist location across the lovely Himalayan mountains. A great place for taking photographs and a beautiful drive to compliment it with.

At Solang you can do paragliding and other adventure activities on your own. Later get back to Manali & explore the local market.

Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Note: ROHTANG PASS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR AND COST. Rohtang Pass sightseeing tour has to be undertaken as per the NGT directions is subject to vehicle permits & Taxi Union guidelines and only limited number of vehicles are permitted there. If undertaken guest has to pay the cost by on self basis as per rate finalized there itself.

Day 06: Manali → Dharamsala

Dharamsala awaits you on the sixth day of your Himachal tour package

After Breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to to Dharamsala. Enjoy the scenic road trip to this serene little hill-station of the monks. You will check-in to your new hotel, on arrival. You can relax for a couple of hours before heading out for sightseeing in Dharamsala. During this guided tour, you will visit Mcleodganj, Bhagsu Nag, Kangra Art Gallery, various Tibetan monasteries, and many other tourist places.

After sightseeing session, delicious dinner will be served to you in your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel and relish the serenity in the air.

Day 07: Dharamsala → Dalhousie

Bid adieu to Dharamsala as you will be hitting the road to Dalhousie today!

After feasting on mouth-watering breakfast, you will check-out from hotel. Your drive towards Dalhousie will be adorned with pine and deodar groves, on both sides of the road.

On your arrival and completing check-in formalities, you can unwind for a while. After rejuvenating your energy, you can gear up for exploring Khajjiar – The Mini Switzerland of India. You can indulge in various sports activities such as zorbing and kayaking. Sightseeing highlights of the day are Khajji Nag Temple and Khajjiar Lake. While exploring the Mini Switzerland of India, you can click loads of pictures with an enchanting backdrop of Dhauladhar Range.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 08: Dalhousie → Chandigarh

After a delicious breakfast , Check Out From Hotel Then set out on sightseeing tour visiting Panchpula, Subash Baoli, Bara Pathar, St Johns Church and Bakrota Hills. After Sightseeing transfer back to Chandigarh. With the scenic road trip, your memorable family trip to Himachal will also come to an end.

Drop to Chandigarh Airport/ Railway Station.
