Itinerary & Tour Details
Day 1:Leh
Arrive at Leh airport, received by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Complete rest for the day for acclimatization to the high altitude region of Ladakh. After lunch if suitable visit Leh Palace built by King Singgee Namgyal around the beginning of 17th century A.D. This deserted nine-storied Palace is now taken under by ASI (Archaeological Survey on India) for restoration. Namgyal Tsemo built by King Tashi Namgyal after the victory over Hor (Central Asian Invaders), visit Shanti Stupa (a Japanese Pagoda built for world peace by Indian based Japanese monks and was inaugurated by His Holiness Dalai Lama in 1985). Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 2: Alchi Monastery
After breakfast drive to Alchi Monastery (70kms) is the most famous and oldest of all Gompas built in around 11thcentury by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo (the great translator). Likir Monastery (55kms) founded in 1065 A.D by Lama Duwang Chosje belongs to Gelugpa order, packed lunch will be provided (optional), on the way visit Hall of Fame (war museum),Spituk Monastery (7kms) founded by Od-Lde in 11th century A.D and was named by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo (the great translator), Pathar Sahib (Gurudwara), Magnetic Hill and Sangam (35kms) confluence of river Indus and Zanskar. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 3: Nubra Valley
After breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardungla Pass (18,380ft) the world’s highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Deskit Monastery (118 kms) founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. Packed Lunch will be provided (optional), post lunch visit Hundar village (7kms from Diskit) and Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in sand dunes between Hundar and Diskit villages. Dinner and overnight at Camp in Nubra.
Day 4: Samstanling Monastery
After breakfast drive to Samstanling Monastery founded by Lama Tsultim Nima and belonging to Gelugpa order at Sumur village. Packed lunch will be provided (optional). Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 5: Pangong Lake
After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500ft), 4-5 hrs drive one way through Changla Pass (17,350ft) third highest motorable road in the world. This famous blue brackish salt water lake is 5-6 kms in width and around 134 kms in length with 75 percent of its running the other side of the Indo China Border. Packed lunch will be provided (optional), drive back to Leh via same route on the way visiting (Druk Padma Karpo School) the school which was featured in famous bollywood film 3 Idiots. Evening free to explore the local markets of Leh on your own.
Early morning transfer to airport to catch your onward flight back home with sweet memories of Ladakh.

- Cost incidental to any changes in the itinerary due to bad weather, Ill health, Stay on account of flight cancellation, landslides and other nature calamity which is beyond our control.

- Please note, the names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels. It is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey the confirmations to you on receipt of your acceptance. However in the event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available at the time of initiating the reservations, we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
- In case on any amendment in local Government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
Booking Procedure
- All booking request for the packages has to be sent to us only by writing e-mail.
- Details required for Confirmation. - Clients or Group Name. - Total No of people along with adult sharing the rooms and child with or without bed. - Date of Arrival and Departure with flight / train details). - ID Proof of main person in the package or group.
- Reference No: As soon as we receive a booking request a file no. will be sent to you, please note the same for future correspondence.
- Re-Confirmation: All bookings should to be reconfirmed with us minimum 10 days prior to the date off arrival along with confirmed arrival details, failure on which will be considered as cancellation.
- Service Voucher: The client has to carry an "Booking Voucher" issued by the “Iknoor Travel Zone” which will be provided to the guest which need to carry while travel. Service Voucher is released only on full and final payment.
Payment Policy
- On Confirmation: 50% (Advance) to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
- Balance: 50% (2nd installment) should be deposited atleast 12 days before tour starts.
- NEFT / RTGS / IMPS (Preferred Method)
- At Par Cheque (Add Rs 500 to outstation cheques)
- Cash (Only in certain circumstances)
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation charges of 50% for cancellation if a confirmed reservation is cancelled more than 30 days from the date of start of tour.
- Cancellation charges of 75% for cancellation if a confirmed reservation is cancelled between 30 to 15 days from the date of start of tour.
- Cancellation charges of 100% for cancellation if a confirmed reservation is cancelled within 15 days to the date of start of tour.
- If booking in cancelled 30 days before then per person communication service charges applicable per person 1000/- INR. + Cancellation charges as applicable.
- No shows and early departures 100% of the entire day.
Amendment
Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge, which will vary from case to case.Terms and Conditions
- Above rates are calculated on the basis of hotels mentioned. In case room type is not mentioned, calculation is based on the base category room in the hotel.
- Booking will be provisionally conformed only after receiving the advance payment and on availability of hotels mentioned. Actual confirmation is only after full payment is made.
- In case of non availability of room in chosen hotel then similar hotel category will be given. Any amount difference will be paid by the customer.
- Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system. We suggest you yourself check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package. Once confirmed we will not change the hotel.
- Iknoor Travel Zone does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, and personal nature expenses. During the Journey if someone asks for extra money you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern without intimation to us.
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
- Iknoor Travel Zone it owners, service providers etc will not be liable for any natural calamities or vehicle breakdowns. Any and all types of Emergency charges are to be directly borne by the customer.
- No accommodation, meal or cost of transport would be paid or reimbursed or compensated.
- All buffet meal / room service will be provided as per hotel policy.
- We are not holding any rooms as of now and above mentioned is quote only , subject to availability at the time of confirmation .
- First preference will be given to mentioned hotels for reservation. In case of non-availability of these hotels we shall advise the similar or next available option with supplement cost .
- Itinerary provided is just suggestive and the sightseeing will be done as per availability.
